The Deepest Healing Came When I Returned to Spirit

Some of the strongest women you know didn’t become powerful because life was easy. They became powerful because life tried to break them, and they chose to rise anyway.

My spiritual journey truly began in 2015. Back then, I was introduced to a different level of awareness, discipline, faith, and connection with God and myself. But like many people, life happened. Grief happened. Heartbreak happened. Disappointments happened. Losing people I loved back to back changed me deeply.

There were seasons where I felt emotionally exhausted trying to carry pain that nobody could see. In 2023, I knew if I didn't lock in with myself I was going to lose myself.

But in 2024, something shifted in me.

I realized the version of myself I kept praying for could not be born without pressure. The elevated woman I was destined to become had to be refined through fire. I had to stop asking “Why me?” and start understanding there was a calling attached to my life.

Warriors are not created in comfort.

So I returned to spirit but this time, I turned it up by ten.

I became more intentional with my faith.
More disciplined with my mind.
More protective of my energy.
More devoted to healing.
More committed to evolving spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I prayed deeper.
I fasted harder.
I isolated when necessary.
I strengthened my relationship with God.
I stopped allowing pain to make me bitter and started allowing it to make me wiser.

And slowly, I started becoming someone I barely recognized in the best way possible.

That’s the thing about spiritual elevation:
The healing doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes it happens quietly while you’re choosing yourself every day despite the heaviness. Sometimes it’s happening while you’re crying, rebuilding, surrendering, and learning how to trust God again.

But eventually, you glow differently.

You carry peace differently.
You move differently.
You attract differently.
You love differently.

Because pain either breaks people or awakens them.

And for the gworls choosing healing, discipline, softness, prayer, luxury, peace, wellness, and purpose this is your reminder that everything you survived is shaping you into the woman you were always called to become.

The battles were never meant to destroy you.
They were preparing the warrior in you.

The deepest healing in my life came from reconnecting spiritually.

Prayer grounded me.

Fasting strengthened my discipline and clarity.

Mindfulness helped me become more aware of how I was living, thinking, and treating myself.

There were moments where I had to intentionally disconnect from distractions so I could hear myself and hear God more clearly.

I learned that elevation requires:

  • discipline
  • stillness
  • reflection
  • intention

Healing my life spiritually helped me elevate every other area of my life too.
